Alleged thief courts bad karma with Buddhist temple – Toronto Sun

A hefty hipster can expect a tidal wave of bad karma if he doesn’t change his ways.

York Regional Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect following several recent break and enters at a Buddhist temple in Markham.

Cops say the crimes occurred Nov. 8-26 at the temple, located in the Bayview-Steeles Aves. area.

On at least four separate occasions, the consciousness lacking suspect forced his way into the temple and stole cash from the donation bins.

The suspect was captured slithering around the temple on video surveillance. Investigators released the images as they appeal to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect.

The Zen-zapping crook is described as male, white, in his late 30s to early 40s and wearing black-framed glasses.
