NASA Debunks Mysterious Triangular 'UFO'

Once again, alien conspiracy theorists have attempted to use

publicly available NASA images to prove that the space agency must be engaging in an elaborate UFO cover-up. And, once again, they've been foiled by the laws of physics.
This time, they called attention to peculiar new footage captured by a telescope onboard NASA's STEREO-B spacecraft — one of a pair of probes parked on either side of the sun which, together, provide a 360-degree view of the inner solar system. The footage shows Venus, Earth and, on the opposite side of the field-of-view, a mysterious triangular object headed our way.


"Comparing it for size to the planetary objects that are seen in this telescope, if my calculations are correct, that thing is enormous," said YouTube user "BeePeeOilDisaster" in his video commentary on the footage, which was captured Dec. 27 -29. Talk of a cover-up quickly followed when, a few days later, NASA scientists updated the STEREO website to display newer images.




This is not the first time alien hunters have found what they believe to be enormous UFOs in images captured by the STEREO probes. [Mysterious Planet-Size Object Spotted Near Mercury]


But this time, the team of scientists who work with data from the probes decided to address the claim directly. In a post on the STEREO website, the researchers offered up an explanation of the triangular feature in the December footage. The researchers say it's no more than a trick of the light.


"The answer lies on the exact opposite side of the image," the scientists wrote. "At the same time as this strange-looking feature starts being visible, the very bright planet Venus enters the [telescopic camera's] field-of-view from the lower left."


The scientists note that Venus and the triangle, opposite each other across the middle of the camera plane, stay in step as they move. "This is not a coincidence. The strange-looking geometrical 'object' is actually an internal reflection of the planet Venus within the telescope optics. This effect has been seen many times before."


In this optical effect, incoming light reflects back and forth off lenses and mirrors inside the telescope; the shape of artifacts produced by this scattered light — usually triangles and circles of various sizes — depends on the relative orientations of those lenses and mirrors.


Another example of internal reflection, this time of light from planet Earth, can be seen in a STEREO-B image from May 2007. More examples of internal reflection and other optical and data-processing artifacts are displayed on the scientists' "Image Artifacts" Web page, along with explanations of the various effects.

Recorded June 19, 1998, the very same day the X-Files movie opened across the country. This video was shot in Chicago at the Seven Continent Dowser's Association Conference. The lecture topic is little more than its title. Opens with a shuttle tale and moves into the first part of the program that deals with modern Dinosauria, Underground Data and ancient history not mentioned in any modern English text. The presentation drops off the deep end as slides from the Tomb, taken by Virginia Hourigan and Harry Hubbard are deciphered and exhibited for what they truly depict. Most of this information released to the public for the first time in 1998, was discovered between 1994 and 1995 from data relating to the Tomb and its contents. As we have proclaimed in the past, many of the tablets from Alexander's Tomb do not fall into the "politically correct" category. The story line of this presentation uses primarily the details from tablets that clearly show Reptilian and other E.T. contact. Nothing here is made up or even slightly contrived. Harry outlines the parallels between Old World and New World contacts with E.T.'s 2000 years ago and follows certain threads of accurately described data through Medieval Age engravings, to the mid 1990's and right back to 2000 year old Latin found in North America. This tape is not controversial, it is the last word. There is no more to say about contact with races from the sky. More than a little of this data will soar right over the heads of most UFO enthusiasts. As Al Bielek says, "There is a learning curve one must pass through to understand your information."

Russian Scientist Claims He Has Found Life On Venus

A Russian scientist claims that photos from a Soviet spacecraft have revealed that alien life exists on Venus.
Leonid Ksanfomaliti of the Space Research Institute at Russia’s Academy of Sciences examined photographs taken by the probe Venera 13 in 1982.
He said the images showed a scorpion-shaped body that moved as the probe’s cameras recorded the scene.
Ksanfomaliti wrote in the Russian Solar Systems Research magazine that the “scorpions” all emerge and disappeared as the probe moved.
“What if we forget about the current theories about the non-existence of life on Venus? Let’s boldly suggest that the objects’ morphological features would allow us to say that they are living,” he said in the report.
He said the photos depict a “disk”, a “black flap”, and a “scorpion.” Ksanfomaliti wrote that the objects emerge in different photographs taken from various vantage points.
NASA said the 880 degree planet has had other probes that have landed on the planet, but they were destroyed by Venus’ high temperatures.
NASA’s Magellan spacecraft has mapped out the majority of Venus up close. During its first eight-month mapping cycle, the spacecraft collected images of 84 percent of the planet’s surface, with resolution 10 times better than that of the Soviet Venera mission.
“During the extended mission, two further mapping cycles from May 15, 1991 to September 14, 1992 brought mapping coverage to 98% of the planet, with a resolution of approximately 100m,” says NASA.
